Clarifications are private per bidder
A service provider can ask a question on the tender. Each provider has its own private thread with you, no bidder ever sees another's questions or your answers. You see them all, grouped by provider.
Answer on the record
Your answer lives on the tender, attached to that provider's thread, not in a separate inbox. When you compare quotes later, the questions that shaped each one are right there beside it.
A provider requests a site visit
A provider can request a site visit and suggest a few times. It never blocks bidding, it's optional, so a provider that needs to see the job can, and one that doesn't isn't forced to.
Propose a slot and confirm
Either side proposes a specific slot; the other confirms: whoever didn't propose last is the one who confirms, so there's always a clear agreement. Both parties are notified and can add it to their calendar.
