Amend or withdraw your quote.

A submitted quote isn't locked in stone while bidding's open, you can update it, or pull it entirely and start fresh.

Goal

Change or withdraw a quote after submitting.

Before you start

A submitted quote on a tender that's still open.

Time

About 5 minutes.

Version

Reflects app v1.5.9

01

Amend in place

While bidding is open, update your submitted quote directly, it's an in-place edit, not a withdraw-and-resubmit. MBN recomputes your total and notifies the vessel that your quote changed.

02

What you can change

Your line prices, charges, labour, and terms. The amended quote replaces the old numbers on the record: cleanly, with the change attributable to you.

03

Withdraw to start over

Withdraw pulls your quote entirely and frees your one-per-tender slot, so you can submit a completely fresh one while bidding is open. You can even withdraw after bidding closes, up until the vessel awards.

Withdrawing a quote, freeing the bid slot.

What happens next

When the vessel closes bidding and awards, if it's you, you'll sign the contract. That's the Win & sign lesson.
